For the first two weeks of August, the boys and girls will engage in Day Camp at two East Bay Regional Parks. The Camp Fire USA summer programming will end August 22nd when we return from the Annual Resident Camp Trip.

August 4-15 are Day Camp days from 10:00am – 5:00pm: After meeting each weekday morning at our West Oakland site, all eligible members will board a charter bus to an East Bay Regional Park.  During the week of August 4th, Day Camp will be held at Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore; and during the week of August 11th, Day Camp will be held at Shadow Cliffs Regional Park in Pleasanton, CA.  The cost for Day Camp is $200.00 per week; however, camperships are being provided for low-income Camp Fire members who have maintained regular attendance, good behavior, and have submitted all required documents.

August 19-22 are Resident Camp days from 9:30am on Tuesday morning to 5:00pm on Friday evening: After meeting at our West Oakland site, all eligible youth will board a coach bus into the woods of Camp Gold Hollow in Nevada City, CA.  The four-day camping adventure will be filled with various outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, boating, arts/crafts, archery, leather-making, camp fires and much more!  The cost for Resident Camp is $500.00; however, camperships are being provided for low-income Camp Fire members who have maintained regular attendance, good behavior, and have submitted all required documents
